Insolations (selection)

(…) The “Insolations” began one summer, during a low moment. Bodies undressed, or at least partially, minds wandering. I drew these bodies, then tanned the paper in the sun, masking with masking tape the parts that were supposed to be protected from UV rays. It took about a week or two, depending on the weather, for the exposed parts to turn a beautiful honey color. One time, it rained, and the black masking slobbered! Then winter came and the sunlight was too weak to do anything. So I bought a tanning lamp and continued the series(…).
